The premise of Anthem sounded promising, which is why it had intrigued both BioWare fans and action-adventure fans alike. However, when the game released, it failed to deliver on its previous promises and left many players unhappy. At release, the game was riddled with bugs, to the point that those who played on PlayStation 4 had their consoles brick during gameplay. Taking to Twitter, Warner indicated that, if it were up to him, all players would be jumping into Anthem on the same day. His tweet came specifically in response to a fan that was frustrated about the lack of early access options available to those looking to play on PlayStation 4, and Warner states that this is between EA and Sony, and completely out of his hands. Indeed, PlayStation 4 owners will need to wait until February 22 before they can play BioWare’s new action RPG....

Contemporary games and new IPs such as the upcoming action-RPG, Anthem, are not exempt from this, and it’s safe to presume that it becomes more difficult by the day for companies like BioWare to come up with titles that will not only capture the attention of players, but also distill a sense of what the game is actually about. Regarding this matter, we recently had the chance to ask Anthem Executive Producer Mark Darrah why the studio chose the name as the game’s final title....

Despite receiving a second chance, Anthem’s extensive overhaul was eventually canceled, its lifespan was significantly cut short. The cancelation of Anthem 2.0 didn’t just affect its own prospects, but could also have far-reaching impacts on many BioWare games in its long-running Mass Effect and Dragon Age series. With new installments for both of these beloved franchises on the horizon, it will be interesting to see the direct result of Anthem’s demise on Mass Effect 4 and Dragon Age 4, as well as future BioWare titles....

The man, identified as Anthony Collins, stopped production of the Oxford-AstraZeneca vaccine when the fake bomb was discovered at the Wales factory on Jan. 27. 2021. Collins, who is from Chatham Hill, in Kent, England, was found guilty at Maidstone Crown Court on Nov. 24. About 120 people had to be evacuated from the Welsh plant when staff discovered the suspicious package and contacted police.
