Anyone who’s followed Sandler’s career knows that he’s always slid gay-friendly subplots into his comedies, so no one should be surprised that “Chuck and Larry” comes out on the side of the angels. You could also predict, given his penchant for adolescent humor, that the comedy will pander to the lowest common denominator, if that means getting easy laughs out of a sissy kid who’s a little too fond of musical comedies—that would be the son of Chuck’s best buddy, Larry (Kevin James)—he’ll go for it....

There will be four Javelin exosuits that can be worn in the launch version of Anthem, and players will don them whenever they take on any kind of mission beyond the wall of the game’s hub world of Fort Tarsis. Whether it be the Ranger, Interceptor, Storm, or Colossus, each Javelin has unique properties such as melee attacks and Ultimate Abilities, and has the capacity of equipping up to two pieces of gear, and two weapons after hitting level two....

No one quite understands what BioWare was thinking by excluding the all-important stat page in a game that relies heavily on them, but players are trying to make do while waiting for the company to possibly add one at a later date. One of those players, Reddit user kaze369, threw together a stat page concept design in Photoshop. Like kaze369 states in their post, it’s “nothing fancy really, just basic stuff....

Anthem will feature four different Javelins: the Ranger, the Colossus, the Storm, and the Interceptor. The Ranger is the well-rounded Javelin. According to the damage chart, the Ranger can wield nearly every element in some form, and also features a shield and buff ability. The Colossus is the heavy-duty Javelin that excels at taking and dishing out damage in exchange for maneuverability. It features more fire and explosive-based abilities, and also has buff and taunt abilities....

In this week’s developer livestream, Anthem Lead Producer Ben Irving took part of the 50-minute session to show off how players will be able to take the four Javelin exosuits and really put their mark on them. The Alpha build of the game shows off a menu screen that lets players customize their selected Javelin’s loadout and appearance. Under appearance, players have plenty of options to customize including the helmet, paint, arms, chest, wear state, legs, animations, and vinyls....

Saturday morning, Anthem received a patch that was meant to fix an issue with one of the game’s strongholds, prevent crashes, and turn HDR back on for consoles that support the feature. However, there were some other changes in the patch that BioWare did not point out, like a nerf to the Gunslinger’s Mark component for the Storm Javelin. Previously, the Gunslinger’s Mark was able to give players 60% bonus damage when they were hovering....

Black-ish, a sitcom about an upper-middle-class Black family, came to an end in April following an eight-season run that saw the ABC comedy become a worldwide hit, spawning a number of spin-offs and winning critical acclaim. However, when Anderson, 51, guest-hosted Jimmy Kimmel Live! on Tuesday, Anderson, who played Black-ish’s lead character Andre “Dre” Johnson Sr., pointed out that his beloved show had been overlooked for awards this year....

He camped out in the corner and provided spacing for Al Jefferson, knocking down 41.3 percent of shots behind the arc. Tolliver averaged 6.1 points and 2.6 rebounds in 20.3 minutes for the Hornets last season. The artist, Amy Putman, wanted to provoke as much reaction as possible and she’s done just that. Bystanders have said her display is everything from “Pro-Trump” and “outrageous” to “racist,” reported NBC. “I understand this art will generate a strong reaction but that’s the price I’m willing to pay for putting a spotlight on Trump’s inhumane policies on the border,” said Putman to Newsweek. The art piece is part of a collection of provocative items on display at the Montclair boutique....

Per ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the NFL has handed Antoine Winfield Jr. a $7,815 fine for his taunt of Tyreek Hill in Super Bowl 55, a game that the Buccaneers dominated, 31-9, and in which Winfield handed Hill a separate L on the side. Winfield, though, is doing some good with the situation: He’s donating the same amount to the Hillsborough Education Foundation in Tampa, Fla., to help bolster the Youth Leadership Program at Tampa’s Young Middle School....

The woman, who spoke to Sports Illustrated on the condition of anonymity for an expose on Brown, said she was working on a mural for Brown in 2017 after they met at a charity softball game in Pittsburgh. The owner of The Mansions at Acqualina, a luxury complex in South Florida, has accused the former Patriots wideout of damaging a condo while living there last year. The complex owner is suing Brown for around $15,000 but says the property damage was actually more costly than that. A police report filed in April 2018 stated Brown became agitated after allegedly being robbed of $80,000 and a gun at the residence, which led to him throw things off the balcony of his 14th-floor unit....

Antony Blinken tweeted in support of pro-democracy former legislators and activists as Hong Kong officials confirmed the arrest of 53 individuals following dawn raids on Wednesday. The ongoing mass arrest is the most dramatic police operation in the name of the city’s sweeping national security law since it was introduced by Beijing in June 2020. “The sweeping arrests of pro-democracy demonstrators are an assault on those bravely advocating for universal rights,” Blinken wrote....

Blinken told the Italian newspaper La Repubblica that cyber hacking had been discussed during this month’s summit between the U.S. President Joe Biden and his Russian counterpart, Vladimir Putin. The interview was published Tuesday after he visited Rome for talks about the global Islamist threat. In it, the Secretary of State referred to the attack on the Colonial Pipeline on the U.S. East Coast, which the FBI has linked to DarkSide, a ransomware gang believed to be based in Russia, although not thought to be state-sponsored....

Directed by Mark Mylod, The Menu premiered in theaters on November 18, grossing $64.6 million worldwide on a $30 million budget, and the movie did receive mostly positive reviews. Naturally, this will be far from HBO Max’s biggest addition next month, with the main event being the series adaptation of The Last of Us, scheduled to premiere on January 15. Still, the service does have a few titles to look out for....
