Three of the four reactors at the Kalinin power plant were unplugged on Thursday, state news agency Tass reported. However, it looks as if the streamer didn’t even make it beyond the start screen, for just when they were connecting to the online servers, they were not only booted from the session, but also seemingly lost access to every single game in their EA Origin library thereafter....

From its inception to its release, Anthem was technically in-development at BioWare for almost seven years. Despite this, the actual Anthem game as we know it was only in full production for about 18 months, with one developer saying that Anthem’s development was rushed within the last six to nine months of development. This comes from an explosive report by Kotaku’s Jason Schreier, citing 19 anonymous sources who either worked directly on Anthem or were “adjacent” to it....

Although Microsoft and Xbox have the marketing rights for BioWare’s new game, when Anthem is released next year, it will also be coming to PS4 and PC. To highlight this fact, the official PlayStation YouTube account uploaded the Anthem gameplay trailer, but eagle-eyed fans discovered that the footage is just an edited version of the Xbox One X footage. Fans pointed out that the trailer does include PS4 DualShock button prompts, but as seen in the image found further below, in some scene transitions it seems that these buttons have just been Photoshopped over the Xbox One controller inputs....

Anthem players will have six different difficulty settings to choose from when the game launches: Easy, Medium, Hard, and three Grandmaster difficulties. As players raise the difficulty setting, the odds of rare gear dropping increases, which creates a nice risk vs. reward scenario. Most players should be able to solo Easy difficulty activities assuming they know what they’re doing. Normal difficulty will prove to be a much greater challenge for solo players, forcing them to be more mindful of their surroundings and a tad bit tactical....
