According to FOX Sports’ Jennifer Hale, Davis immediately went to the locker room and received X-rays on the shoulder. He was later ruled out for the remainder of Saturday night’s contest.
Davis played 28 minutes without any injury issues Friday night in the Pelicans’ loss at the Magic, but he only lasted eight minutes Saturday night.
To make matters worse for the Pelicans, who are trying to survive in the hunt for a playoff spot in the Western Conference, Ryan Anderson was also ruled out from returning to the game in Miami with a sprained knee.
