Thankfully, Anthem fans looking for help in this domain have some resources available to them in the way of annotated maps created outside of the game itself. These maps not only show off Treasure Chests’ locations, but also the current spots of various World Events - the latter of which are absent from the in-game map for some reason.
For those unaware, Treasure Chests are tucked away in a lot of different areas throughout Anthem’s Freeplay mode, and they are currently one of the quickest ways that Freelancers can obtain loot. It’s also worth noting that the successful completion of each World Event will provide one with guaranteed access to a Treasure Chest and its contents.
It must be stressed that each of the maps below may not contain all of the Treasure Chest spawns and World Event spots found in the action-RPG’s in-game world at the moment, but they do provide a nearly comprehensive breakdown of the locations discovered thus far. After all, with Anthem being a live service, some of these assets are subject to change.

Beyond the hunt for Treasure Chests and World Events in Anthem, BioWare recently pushed out an update that made changes to loot drops which significantly altered Inscriptions, Loot Tables, and Masterwork Embers. This likely won’t be a panacea for all of the issues related to loot in the game, but it’s good to see the developer listening to the community and providing such a quick turnaround on some much-needed refinements.
Anthem is available now for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
