The major selling point for the game is it will feature Keri Russell, who recently starred at Zorii Bliss in Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, and Kaitlyn Dever, who played Amy in Olivia Wilde’s 2019 hit Booksmart. Annapurna Interactive posted on Twitter following the Game Awards announcement to say the game is coming to consoles and PC sometime in 2021. It can be wishlisted now on Steam.
While not much is known about what Open Roads’ story will uncover, fans of titles such as Gone Home will likely find something to like - especially with its interesting blend of hand-drawn characters and first-person environments. Many other titles have been announced throughout The Game Awards 2020, including the Dead Space creator Glen Schofield’s new title The Callisto Protocol.
Open Roads is schedule to release in 2021 for unannounced consoles and PC.
