Not to be confused with Hindsight 20/20: Wrath of the Raakshasa, Hindsight from Annapurna, and developer Joel McDonald turns everyday objects like one’s close possessions into windows to the past. Hindsight looks to be an emotional tale about getting glimpses of the future by peering into the past, and perhaps it all draws back to a single protagonist.

The narrator of the trailer discusses letting go of belongings and interestingly shows a person holding a key, likely signifying them moving into a home for the first time. Whatever the tale may be, players can expect Hindsight on the Nintendo Switch and PC sometime in the future.
Annapurna also provides an update on Last Stop by assigning it a release window of July 2021 during the Indie World livestream. In contrast to Hindsight, Last Stop is another narrative tale that is far more action-packed than the relaxing indie that Annapurna announced. This single-player experience explores the lives of three people. John and Jack live the nightmare of body-switching and become entangled with the other protagonists Meena and Donna, resulting in their secrets being unturned in a thrilling mystery.
Previous gameplay demos of Last Stop show off the way choices can define the narrative’s path and change the story. The three protagonists, John, Meena, and Donna, become intertwined in some way, but the wacky premise will culminate in an exciting sci-fi adventure.
Hindsight is in development for PC and Switch. Last Stop is set to release in July 2021 for PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
